Nancy first independently designed window for this synagogue represents Rosh Chodesh— the celebration of the new moon. The series of photos follows the process from the initial conception, thru the revised and approved scale drawing to the completed window. Notice how the full size drawing with the lead lines marked in red has been transformed into a close up of the finished window. To enhance the design, areas have been sandblasted, such as in the lettering and the moons. Traditional vitreous paint has been applied and fired to make the window rich with detailing.
